2008 Infiniti M45x gets AWD




The new Infiniti M45 sports sedan is now available with the intelligent ATTESA E-TS all-wheel-drive. Powered by the 4.5-liter V8 DOHC engine, which is capable of producing 325 hp and 336 lb-ft (455 Nm), the car with the AWD system will be sold as Infiniti M45x, while the 'ordinary' Infiniti M45 will retain its rear-wheel-drive powertrain.







Also, company is reporting in its press release, the previous Infiniti M35 and Infiniti M45 Sport models will be discontinued and replaced with so called "Sport Package" consisting of new front and rear bumper styling kit, side sills and colored headlamps, as well as a RAS system, 19-inch high-performance wheels and low-profile tires, sized 245/45VR18 and 245/40WR19.




The higher level of active safety is ensured with standard 4-wheel power-assisted vented disc brakes with ABS, EBD, brake assist, and traction control.




Inside the cars you'll also find new navigation system with 9.3GB Music Box HDD and available XM NavTraffic, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, an Infiniti Information Display with 7-inch LCD touch screen, Infiniti voice recognition and RearView Monitor.
